I just changed from a Blackberry to a Windows Mobile PDA (Motorola Q). The Google Map for Mobile app is missing key functionality!!! You can't save favorites! this is a must have....

I have Windows Mobile 5.0 pda phone. I live in Thailand. When I start and view maps in Australia, maps are in English. But when I scroll across and view maps in Thailand - the script is in Thai. Is there any setting I can change so that it shows scripts in English? Regards Zank

As a business traveler who almost went and bought a GPS package for my ATT 750 Treo powered by WM6, I would like to thank GMM for saving me the $$$$. I travel populated areas with normally good coverage, so the GMM is a perfect no cost substitution. The triangulation method for My Location is accurate enough for my use, I'm not on a backpacking trek

You'll never believe this, but it looks like Cupertino might be getting ready to drop a bomb this summer -- a 3G bomb, in fact! The latest beta release of firmware 2.0 for the iPhone has apparently revealed a preference screen that allows users of the new model to disable the 3G radio and fall back to GPRS / EDGE because the faster service "decreases battery life." iPhone unavailable in online Apple Store
The online Apple store has currently no iPhones in stock. Both the 8GB and 16GB iPhone are marked as "Currently Unavailable", reports I4U. This could also just be a store glitch, but we also already learned that week that O2 has run out of iPhones in the UK. It is suspected that this shortage already heralds the 3G iPhone, but I still think that Apple will continue to offer the normal iPhone for a while. Not everybody gets 3G coverage.
