You could create your own dialog class which started a thread that calls finish() (back on the EDT) after x seconds.

what is the point of ProviderTestCase2?

Hello, I am trying to test my Content Provider. I obviously want to test against a mockup db and ProviderTestCase2 seems to do the trick. When tested, the case creates a new db names test.<myDb>. The schema is all good and the description of the ProviderTestCase2 is what I am looking for. However, I am a bit confused to what extent I can use the
