Google has upgraded its mobile Web-based Calendar and GMail for the iPhone and Android. GMail now has added features that make it more like the Web-based version of GMail . Most of the upgrade is on the back end, making the system faster and perform better. The company is trying to make the PC and mobile experiences as similar as possible. Java and xml. XML handles the Android interface and Java does all the work behind the scenes. Definately learn Java first, become somwhat understanding of xml, then dive into Android resources because Android does have it's own libraries and such.
