Currently I am using ScheduledExecutorService, however having dabbled with AlarmManager and its setRepeating function, I'm wondering if I should use that instead? How about checking if we are running on Delvik VM or Sun Java VM ? Is there anyway to query a property that distinguish one VM from the other? Thanks, Kobi.
