Tytuł mistrzowski obronił zespół z Sankt-Petersburskiego Uniwersytetu Informatyki, Mechaniki i Optyki.

Hi, How do I show an open file dialog in a preferenceScreen - and is there an open file dialog-intent in android? I need to let the user choose a mp3 file. I can use the RingtonePreference, but then the user needs to add the file as a ringtone. Isn't it possible to show an open file dialog?

If the user starts the activity via touch mode (e.g., taps on a launcher icon), there is no "selected" item, and so setSelection() has no effect. If the user starts the activity in non-touch mode (e.g., uses the trackball/D-pad to highlight a icon in the launcher, then presses the D-pad center button to start it), then setSelection() should work.

When my Activity starts I want to set which item is already selected. I can't seem to make it happen. I have tried setSelection() and setItemChecked(). When the screen comes up the item I want is not highlighted. Any ideas?
